• FIRELINE: This is a microfused, braided bead thread consisting of Dyneema, a gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on beadworking.
• DETAILS: Made in the USA, this Fireline is a crystal color thread in 2 sizes. The 4lb. test measures .005”/.12mm in diameter and 6lb. test is .006”/.15mm in diameter. Each spool is 15 yards in length.
• EASY FINISH: Because this is a super strong material, we recommend using sharp, precise scissors for cutting the string. However, the thread can also be burned instead of snipping. A thread burner is easier to use and more precise. This method seals the ends, which prevents frayed edges or split ends.
